We’ll keep you updated as these developments unfold and impact the industry.

Future Revenue Projections

Looking ahead to 2025, revenue from the sales of all types of semiconductor components used in AI is expected to grow by another 29%, reaching $92 billion. This year, however, will demonstrate the highest growth rate over the three-year period. In 2024, revenue from the sale of AI-related electronic computing components is projected to make up 47% of the total, amounting to $33.4 billion. In the automotive segment, AI components will generate $7.1 billion in revenue, while in the consumer electronics segment, this figure will not exceed $1.8 billion, notes NIX Solutions.

Over time, large cloud service providers are likely to focus on developing their own components for AI systems. This strategy will be beneficial not only for the service providers themselves but also for end users, enhancing the efficiency and performance of AI applications.
